Crews reopen I-70 lanes on new Rangeline bridge

MoDOT crews reopened the east and westbound lanes on the new Rangeline bridge Monday on I-70.

Workers were scheduled to reopen the lanes at 5:00 a.m. Monday at I-70. This comes after the bridge was slid into place on Saturday.

MoDOT said its crews also planned to reopen the eastbound on ramp at Providence and the eastbound on and off ramps at Rangeline Monday morning. On Tuesday, drivers will also have access to the westbound on and off ramps at Rangeline.

Right now, Rangeline remains closed until 5:00 Tuesday morning.

The black routes of COMO Connect are taking a detour around the work until Rangeline reopens Tuesday.

Black Route 1A will go from the Business Loop to northbound Providence, to Big Bear Boulevard to Rangeline.

Black Route 1B will go from Rangeline to Big Bear Boulevard to southbound Providence road to eastbound Business Loop.
