Rain chance Saturday, great weather Sunday

A cold front will move through Mid-Missouri Saturday, giving us a chance of rain. A line of showers and storms ahead of the front will move southeast to near I-44 by 8 AM. The first half of the day looks mostly cloudy but the clouds will break in the afternoon and temperatures will climb to the low 80s.

An upper level area of low pressure will move through during the afternoon and early evening. This will give us another chance of pop up showers or t-storms in the afternoon through early evening but they will be spotty.

Northwesterly winds up to 15 mph will usher in drier air Sunday and we’ll see abundant sunshine as temperatures reach the upper 70s to near 80 in the afternoon. Dew points will be in the 50s Sunday, giving us a pleasant afternoon with low humidity.
