Tornado confirmed near Whiteman Air Force Base

A tornado has been confirmed near Whiteman Air Force Base in Johnson County.

We have reports the base is on lockdown until the storm passes. The tornado warning over the affected area has also been issued for Pettis County.

Shortly after 5:20 p.m., flash flood warnings were also issued for Pettis and Saline counties.
