Man found dead by Fifth & Walnut parking garage in Columbia
Update, 10:28 p.m.:The Fifth and Walnut parking garage was back open Friday night just before 10:30p.m. after a man was found dead in the street.
Columbia Police on the scene tell ABC 17 News no foul play is suspected at this time.
ORIGINAL STORY: There is a heavy police presence on South Fifth Street in Downtown Columbia. Columbia police are saying the Walnut parking garage is closed for an undetermined amount of time. No vehicles are being let in or out.
A Columbia Police Department public information officer is on the scene.
