Crews set to put in new I-70 bridge

Crews are preparing to put in a new bridge on I-70.

The work is set to begin Sunday morning at 9. One lane of I-70 in each direction will close for the construction at Garth Avenue.

The closure is expected to last until 5:00 a.m. Monday.

Crews will use equipment including dishwashing liquid to slide the Garth bridge into place. It’s expected to take about eight hours.
