Kansas City police find man shot to death in parking lot

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Police are looking for suspects in the shooting death of a man in a Kansas City parking lot near a hotel just south of Interstate 435 in the city’s Brindlespur neighborhood. Officers were called to the lot around 9:30 p.m. Monday and found the man with gunshot wounds. The man was taken to a hospital, where he died. Police have not released the victim’s name. Homicide detectives are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact police.
