Police investigating suburban St. Louis shooting death

JENNINGS, Mo. (AP) — Police in suburban St. Louis are investigating the shooting death of a man in Jennings. St. Louis County police say in a news release that the shooting happened around 4:20 p.m. Sunday in Jennings, when officers were called to a residential neighborhood just west of Jennings Junior High School. Arriving officers found a man who had been shot and who died at the scene. Police have not yet released the victim’s name, and no arrests were immediately reported.
