Three-vehicle crash on Missouri Blvd. in Jefferson City

Jefferson City police responded to a multi-vehicle crash Friday at 4:36 p.m.

Three vehicles were involved in the crash that happened in the 3100 block of Missouri Blvd.

A Buick Lesabre was traveling west on Highway 50 when it crossed the median and the eastbound lanes of Highway 50, onto Missouri Blvd.

The Buick then struck a westbound Toyota RAV 4 and crossed into the eastbound lanes,hitting an eastbound Chrysler 200.

The Buick then traveled down an embankment and came to a stop.

All three drivers involved with the crash were transported to area hospitals for non-life threatening injuries, and all three vehicles had extensive damage.

Traffic experienced intermittent road closures during the investigation.
