Motorcyclist arrested after short chase in Boone County

A motorcyclist has been arrested following a short chase in Boone County. It happened just after 3 p.m. Wednesday, when deputies tried to stop the motorcyclist on Highway 124.

The driver didn’t stop, but continued onto Route OO before ditching the motorcycle and running into the woods. Deputies caught the driver a short time later.

No name or charges have been announced at this time.
