Mizzou men’s and women’s hoops picked to finish near the bottom of the SEC

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (KMIZ)

The SEC and national media is expecting the Mizzou men's and women's basketball teams to finish near the bottom of the conference this season.

The Mizzou men were picked to finish 10th in the SEC. Meanwhile, the women were picked to finish 11th in the conference.

Neither Tiger team had any players represented on the preseason All-SEC teams.

Kentucky was picked to win the SEC on the men's side. Meanwhile, South Carolina was tabbed preseason champs on the women's side.

The Mizzou men's basketball team will open up its season on Nov. 9 against Central Michigan.

The MU women's basketball team will open up its season on Nov. 11 against Murray State.
