Wednesday night storm update

Strong storms in southeastern Kansas are moving northeast and could stay organized as they move into the Lake of the Ozarks area 10-11 PM Wednesday night. High resolution forecast models indicate these will arrive near HWY 65 close to 10 PM and track to the east-northeast, mainly affecting areas south of I-70. (See maps in Related Content)

Severe weather is possible with these storms as they move in but they are expected to weaken as they move east. Isolated strong winds and large hail will be possible with these storms as they move in.

Additional showers and t-storms are expected from 3-7 AM but will not be severe. Spotty showers are possible through early Thursday morning.
