Trial for woman charged in deadly Scott Blvd crash moved back

The trial for a woman charged in connection with a deadly crash on Scott Boulevard in Columbia has been delayed.

Sophia Mosby, 30, is accused of speeding and running a yellow light back in September. She hit with another car, killing 9-year-oldJeffrey Jiang and his mother, Ping Gui.

Mosby’s trial for manslaughter was to start next week. A new date has not been set. Mosby already faces a wrongful death lawsuit that was filed last month.
