Man sentenced for stealing people’s packages off doorsteps

ABC 17 News confirmed a Holts Summit man accused of stealing packages from people’s doorsteps in November 2014 just pleaded guilty on Monday.

John Jaegers was identified through surveillance video showing a woman’s doorstep in Holts Summit. The victim later talked to ABC 17 News after sharing the images on Facebook. Read the original story about how the crimes happened and watch the security footage here.

Jaegers was sentenced to five years for theft and four years on separate drug charges.
