Two arrested for burglary charges in Fulton

The Fulton Police Department responded to a burglary in progress in the 800 block of South Business 54 around 3 p.m. Saturday.

Lucy Dixon, 26, and Michael Hook Jr., 22, were arrested shortly after.

A witness told police two people left the business in a black Lincoln car. A Fulton police officer spotted the car and conducted a traffic stop.

Police said Dixon and Hook Jr. told the officer they were inside the building.

Dixon is facing charges of second degree burglary, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and receiving stolen property. She is currently being held in the Callaway County Jail on a $5,500 bond.

Hook Jr. is facing charges of second degree burglary and stealing. He is also in the Callaway County Jail on a $9,000 bond.

Authorities said the investigation is ongoing and the two could face more charges.
