Tracking scattered storms this weekend

Tonight: Scattered showers and storms remain throughout the area tonight with the biggest threats being a few strikes of lightning and some brief downpours. The overnight low drops to 66 degrees as winds continue out of the south.


Tomorrow: Scattered showers and storms will fire back up late Saturday morning with a chance of becoming more widespread. Cloud cover aids in cooler highs Saturday afternoon up to 78 degrees. Some isolated areas could see up to an additional inch of rainfall.


Extended: Sunday morning showers begin to push east and winds shift out of the northwest as a high-pressure system from the west begins to Influence much of Missouri for the upcoming week leading to more dry and cool conditions with temperatures in the mid-'70s
