Bill would require some law enforcement to wear body cameras while on duty
A new bill would require some Missouri law enforcement agencies to wear body cameras while on duty and in uniform.
The bill applies to police forces in cities with more than 100,000 residents.
If it passes, the Missouri Department of Public Safety would have to pay for the equipment.
The mother of Michael Brown, Lesley McSpadden, will testify Wednesday morning in favor of the bill.
Brown was shot and killed by a Ferguson Police officer in August 2014.
