KMIZ

KINSLEY, Kan. (AP) — The undersheriff of a south-central county in Kansas has been arrested in connection to a domestic violence incident over the weekend. The Kansas Bureau of Investigations says in a news release that Edwards County Undersheriff Robert “Bobby” Blackwell was arrested Monday for aggravated domestic battery. The KBI says that an Edwards County deputy responding Sunday evening to a 911 call made from a home in Kinsley learned that Blackwell was involved in a physical altercation. The sheriff’s office later that evening contacted the KBI to investigate. The 39-year-old undersheriff was booked into the Ford County Detention Center.
