Columbia crews continue to monitor roads

Columbia Public Works continues to treat roads Wednesday afternoon and said it will monitor refreezing Wednesday night.

Public Works Wednesday afternoon said priority routes are in good shape after sunshine helped melt snow and ice.

Roads have been treated with salt and the day shift crew continues to plow low priority roads and salt trouble spots to fight refreezing overnight.

A night crew will be on standby to monitor the possibility of refreezing.

Parking enforcement is expected to be lifted on priority routes Wednesday night.
