Water on roadway causes slick conditions

Water on a Columbia road created slick conditions Friday night.

As of 10 p.m. the water was still over Scott Boulevard at the Vawter School roundabout. ABC 17 Crews at the scene said it was turning icy and saw a couple cars slide.

Boone County EMA sent out a warning just after 8 p.m. advising drivers to use caution in the area.

We are working to find out where the water came from.
