Road-rage shooting west of Jefferson City
ABC 17 News confirmed the Cole County sheriff’s department responded to a road-rage shooting just west of Jefferson City Wednesday afternoon.
Deputies were called to Westview Drive off Highway 50 around 2:15 p.m. They learned two vehicles stopped after one of them cut off the other driver. One man got out of a black car and fired four rounds into the air, before leaving the scene.
Officials believe one person was in the victim’s car and multiple people were in the suspect’s car, but there were no witnesses to provide better descriptions. Nobody was hurt.
