WATCH: Beach cameras show impact of Nicholas in Texas
Hurricane Nicholas made landfall early Tuesday as a Category 1 hurricane, bringing the threat of heavy rain and flooding to parts of the Gulf Coast.
The storm could drop up to 18 inches of rain in areas, including parts of Louisiana hit recently by Hurricane Ida. Louisiana is in a state of emergency.
