Bicyclist experiences life-threatening injuries in crash on North Garth Ave.

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A man experienced life-threatening injuries after being hit on his bike Sunday on North Garth Ave.

Columbia Police responded to a report of a crash involving a vehicle and bicycle in the 1300 block of North Garth Ave. Sunday just after 11 a.m.

During the investigation, officers learned that Seth A. Honeyman, 40 of Columbia, was traveling east toward North Garth Avenue on a private drive on the southeast side of the Mizzou North building.

A 2014 Ford Fusion driven by Lisa A. Clark, 59 of Columbia, was traveling southbound when the vehicle struck the side of the bicyclist as he entered onto North Garth Avenue.

Honeyman was transported to a local hospital by EMS with life-threatening injuries.

This is an ongoing investigation.
