Motorcycle driver dies after crash with SUV in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The driver of a motorcycle died early Sunday after crashing into another vehicle. Kansas City Police Department spokesman Capt. Leslie Foreman said the crash was reported near Independence and Spruce Avenues shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday. Police said the driver of a Yamaha motorcycle struck a Chevrolet SUV as it was laming a left-hand turn onto Independence Avenue. The 28-year-old man who was driving the motorcycle died at the scene. His identity was not immediately released.
