Tracking a pleasant Thursday before heat returns

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cool with lows in the lower 50s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and quite pleasant with highs in the lower 80s.

EXTENDED:  We're in for some great patio weather tonight as temperatures dip into the upper 60s after sunset, with overnight lows in the low to mid-50s (61 is average). Expect a bright day Thursday as humidity remains low and temperatures stay in the low 80s for another day. High pressure begins to build out to our west and push in our direction by Friday, bringing temperatures up a few degrees. We're all quiet for Friday football games and it's a hot start to the weekend with that high pressure overhead. Temperatures reach the low 90s on Saturday and Sunday, but thankfully the humidity stays low, so we won't have the heat index to deal with. Next week starts off hot with 90s expected on Monday, but our next upper level low pressure will send a cold front through the area between Tuesday night and Wednesday, bringing our next chance of rain/storms and cooler temperatures.
