Boy shoots his hand, girl’s foot as party breaks up

A downtown St. Louis party broke up after the 14-year-old host wounded himself and another person. St. Louis police said a shooting was reported at the Bogan Lofts apartments downtown around 1:30 a.m. Sunday. Officers encountered several juveniles running rom the location as they arrived, and one of those teens flagged down officers with a gunshot wound to his hand. Investigators determined that the 14-year-old wounded boy was the host of the party. Investigators determined that an argument took place in a hallway outside the party, and the 14-year-oldpulled out the gun. He fired the weapon several times, wounding himself and striking a 14-year-old girl in the foot after another juvenile tried to grab the gun.
