Authorities respond to two shots fired incidents in Columbia neighborhood
Police responded to two incidents of shots fired in a Columbia neighborhood Sunday night and early Monday.
Both calls came from the Whitegate Drive area. The two shots fired happened within less than twelve hours of one another. One came in Sunday night, the other early Monday morning.
Monday’s incident happened at the intersection of Quail Drive and Countryside Lane at around 3:30 a.m. Police found multiple shell casings, but no property damage or victims were found.
Authorities told ABC 17 they are considering the case closed since no people or building were shot at or hit. If they get more information, they will reopen the case.
