St. Louis County Police find man shot to death in Velda City

VELDA CITY, Mo. (AP) — Police in suburban St. Louis say a man has been shot to death in Velda City. St. Louis County Police were called to the community in north St. Louis County around 3:45 p.m. Thursday and found a man with at least one gunshot wound. The man was taken to an area hospital, where he died. His name has not been released. Police did not announce any arrests or suspects in the shooting.
