Suspects charged in connection to Columbia home invasion robbery
Three men were just charged this week in connection to a robbery at a home in northeast Columbia over the summer. It happened July 14 in the 4400 block of Brown Station Road near Highway 63.
Authorities questioned one person back in July. They say that person, Emily Oxford, worked with three men to rob the home. Officers said Oxford knew the two men living inside the home and came to their door asking to use the bathroom.
Court documents picked up by ABC 17 News on Wednesday claim one minute later, three masked men forced their way into the home, showed guns and demanded money and other items.
Officials also say the suspects pistol-whipped both men who lived at the residence.
Sylvester Williams Jr., Damerian Cheatum, and Earl Moses Jr. are now charged in connection to the robbery. All three are charged with first degree robbery and armed criminal action.
Moses was also charged earlier this month in connection to a September home invasion robbery on Agate Way. Moses is also charged with two counts of kidnapping, robbery, armed criminal action and assault.
Moses was also charged with burglary in June.
