Colder air moves in Wednesday night
Colder air will move into Mid-Missouri Wednesday night, dropping temperatures into the 30s by Thursday morning. A surface cold front will move through early in the day Wednesday but the coldest air arrives with an area of low pressure aloft which dives in from the north Wednesday night.
A band of clouds will move through Wednesday night as this upper wave moves through. Some sprinkles or brief light showers are also possible from 10pm until 3 am as the clouds move through with the best chance north of I-70.
Temperatures will quickly fall into the upper 30s by daybreak Thursday as clouds move out, giving us a chilly start to the day, leading to a mostly sunny and cool afternoon.
