Car crashes into Jefferson City utility pole
Jefferson City police are investigating after a car crashed into a utility pole Monday night.
It happened just after 5 p.m. in the 800 block of Jefferson Street.
Police say a car driven by Nicholas Schafer ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a utility pole.
Schafer was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. A section of Jefferson street was blocked off for 2 hours while crews repaired the utility pole.
