Cole County resident chases home intruder out with gun
One person is in custody after entering a home in Cole County with a knife Sunday.
A man, whose name is unknown at this time, entered a house in the 200 Block of Arden Drive with a knife, around 3:30 according to Capt. John Wheeler with the Cole County Sheriff’s Department.
A person living in the home chased the intruder out of the home with a gun and held him there until Cole County deputies and Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers arrived, Wheeler said.
No one was hurt.
Deputies arrested the man on suspicion of burglary in the first degree. His name is not being released until formal charges are filed.
