City of Fulton repairs fire truck after denying firefighters higher pay

Just one week after the Fulton City Council said firefighters would not be getting a pay raise, ABC 17 News has confirmed the city has taken a truck in for repairs.

The city has removed one truck from service to fix its brakes and to get a new air horn.

ABC 17 News has reported previously that the department has been asking for wage increases and said their equipment is old.

One ladder truck is out of service because it doesn’t work properly.

The truck is getting repairs after running over a tree on the way to a call due to brake failure.
