One Woman in serious condition following near drowning at The Lake of the Ozarks

CAMDEN, Mo. (KMIZ)

One woman is in serious condition after falling off a dock and striking her head at The Lake of The Ozarks.

Sara Shandy, 72, was knocked unconscious after falling into the water and hitting her head.

Family and friends retrieved Shandy after she was seen floating face down in the water.

Shandy was transported to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach with serious injuries, according to a release from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
