Three arrested following drug bust in Camden County

The Camden County Sheriff’s Department and the Lake Area Narcotic Enforcement group arrested three people for drug charges Tuesday afternoon after finding various narcotics inside a home in the 300 block of Hogan Drive.

Deputies found more than two ounces of marijuana packaged for sale, drug paraphernalia, prescription drugs and nearly $900 in cash.

Thomas Garcia, 20, of Macks Creek, has been charged with possession with intent to distribute and possession of a controlled substance.

Tyler Hintze, 27, of Lake Ozark, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Both Garcia and Hintze are in the Camden County Adult Detention Facility each with $3,000 cash bonds.

Damon Odell, 19, of Rocky Mount, was arrested for a possible misdemeanor possession charge, but was later released after posting bond.
