DBLL All-Stars get warm welcome after third place finish in the Little League World Series
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Daniel Boone Little League All-Stars arrived back in Columbia to a hero's welcome on Thursday night.
A large group gathered at Columbia's little league facility to greet the team, including the Mizzou softball team.
"It's really cool. These girls look up to the Mizzou softball team," head coach Nick Britton said. "Hopefully, some little girls are looking up to our girls now, so it's pretty cool."
The DBLL All-Stars finished in third place at the Little League World Series in North Carolina. That's the highest ever finish by a team from Missouri.
