Driver, brothers hurt in Mid-Missouri school bus crash

ABC 17 News confirmed details on a Mid-Missouri school bus crash that left several people injured. On Thursday the Montgomery County R-2 superintendent gave ABC 17 News information he learned from the owner of Schwartz bus service.

The driver’s front wheel apparently went off the roadway Wednesday evening around 5, before going all the way across Highway DD. The bus tipped over on its side and slid into a pole.

It happened near Route E outside Bellflower, about an hour east of Columbia.

Two brothers were on board. One of them is a middle school student, and the other goes to high school.

All three, including the bus driver, were checked out by paramedics and then released from the hospital a few hours later.
