DBLL All-Stars finish in third place at the Little League Softball World Series

GREENVILLE, N.C. (KMIZ)

The Daniel Boone Little League All-Stars beat Texas 10-1 on Wednesday to capture third place at the Little League Softball World Series.

The Missouri bats got going right away as the girls scored five runs in the first inning. Kennedy Watson led the way at the plate. She was 2-for-2 with 2 RBI.

Hayden Bush got the start for the DBLL All-Stars. She allowed just four hits while pitching all six innings on the mound.

This was DBLL's first ever Little League Softball World Series appearance. The team is expected to arrive back in Columbia on Thursday night.

Coach Britton said he expects the team to arrive back in Columbia on Thursday around 8 p.m. Fans are welcome to greet the team on Field 3 at the Daniel Boone Little League facility.
