Woman accused of crashing into patrol car while drunk
A 20 year-old Columbia woman is back on the streets, after getting arrested over the weekend, accused of hitting a police officer’s car while drunk.
Officers went to a crash Sunday night at Old Highway 63, just south of Stadium Boulevard. They say one of the cars left the scene, before driving onto a curb and going over the roundabout at Bearfield Road.
Police say Taylor Hester also threatened the officer during her arrest. She had bonded out of jail by Monday.
