Colorado woman hurt falling off trolley in Cole County

A Colorado woman was hurt after falling out of a trolley in Cole County Saturday.

It happened on Highway 50 near Lisletown Road just after 5:00 p.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Barbara Sexton, 22, leaned out of a window and fell out of the moving trolley, the highway patrol said.

Emergency crews took Sexton to University Hospital in Columbia for serious injuries. Sexton was in fair condition Sunday night, according to hospital officials.

ABC 17 News checked in with the highway patrol and Cole County Sheriff’s Department, but no other details were available about the incident Sunday.
