DBLL All-Star softball team advances to LLWS semifinals

GREENVILLE, N.C. (KMIZ)

The Daniel Boone Little League All-Star softball team advanced to the semifinals at the Little League World Series on Monday afternoon.

The All-Stars from Missouri beat Nevada 4-0 thanks to a standout performance from pitcher Kennedy Watson. She threw a no-hitter with seven strikeouts. Watson was also 2-for-3 at the plate with an RBI.

After losing its first game at the World Series, Missouri has now rattled off four straight victories. The DBLL All-Stars will now face Oklahoma in the semifinals on Tuesday at 3 p.m. You can watch the game on ESPN2.
