Troopers monitoring holiday traffic in Mid-Missouri

Extra troopers are already out Friday night ahead of the holiday weekend.

The Highway Patrol said every available trooper will be on the roads enforcing traffic laws and helping drivers.

A total of three people died in crashes on state roads over the Labor Day weekend last year.
