Multi-car crash in Boone County slows traffic on Highway 63

A multi-car crash in the southbound lanes of Highway 63 north, just south of Route NN, slowed traffic flow in the area Thursday morning, according to Boone County Joint Communications.

The crash happened at around 7:00 a.m.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol confirmed a car hit a fence after it rear-ended a truck and went off the road.

The first driver, 30-year-old Dustin Smith of Sturgeon, received moderate injuries in the crash.
