EMT charged with stealing pills from Isle of Capri in Boonville

A 20-year-old Emergency Medical Technician is charged with stealing prescription pills from Isle of Capri Casino Hotel in Boonville.

According to court documents, Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers investigated a report of 11 hydrocodone pills stolen from a lost medication locker at Isle of Capri.

Documents said the locker is accessible only to security supervisors and EMTs.

Surveillance video from August 10 showed EMT Matthew Bricker checked out the key for the locker.

Just after 1:00 a.m., Bricker and a security worker, Kristin Bolding, went into the EMT room where the locker is located.

Bricker unlocked the locker, handed the bottle of pills to Bolding, and checked the log book for the locker.

Bolding then opened the bottle and put the pills in her pants pocket.

Bricker put the pill bottle back and locked the locker.

On August 25, Bricker admitted that he suspected Bolding had took some pills, but said he didn’t ask her about it.

Bolding told investigators she and Bricker had conspired to steal the pills earlier in the evening. After stealing them, she gave two of the pills to Bricker behind the building away from cameras later that night.
