Ashland ups traffic detail for rodeo

Drivers in Mid-Missouri should be aware of more traffic in southern Boone County this weekend.

The Ashland Police Department will have extra officers on traffic detail during the Cattlemen Days Rodeo over the next two days.

Crews are finishing setting up the 39th edition of the rodeo, where nearly 2,000 people are expected to attend.

Officers said they don’t expect many delays along Highway 63, but drivers could see some congestion at city intersections.
