Warm weekend, quiet travel weather for many

TONIGHT: Partly to mostly cloudy, lows in the upper 20s.

SATURDAY: Clouds clear, becoming mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 40s to near 50.

EXTENDED: The warm weather sticks around as the jet stream stays to our north. Highs through the weekend soar into the mid-50s by Sunday, and we stay dry. Expect more clouds by Monday into Christmas Eve, but it's still quite mild with highs in the mid-upper 50s. A disturbance sliding by on Christmas Day could bring a few showers, and we drop to near or just below 50 degrees. For the rest of next week, we see a cool down back into the 40s with more widespread rain Thursday night into Friday.
