Woman charged with Hermann murder appears in court
A woman accused of killing her roommate in Gasconade County appeared in court Wednesday.
Karen Brinkley is charged with second degree murder in the death of her roommate, Marion Gerloff in Hermann.
Brinkley was arraigned Wednesday.
Investigators think she strangled Gerloff more than 4 months ago and kept the remains in a wooden box.
A judge has now scheduled a preliminary hearing for September 30.
