Broadway to Highland Drive in Columbia reopen after being closed due to car accident

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

According to Boone County Joint Communications, Broadway to Highland Drive in Columbia is closed due to a vehicle accident.

ABC News crews on the scene report seeing one car that ran into a pole along Broadway and Stadium Blvd. A woman was seen being seen put on a stretcher. Another person was also seen in the car according to crews.

Columbia Police, fire officials and two ambulances were on scene according to ABC 17 News crews.

CPD confirmed two people were involved in the crash were not wearing seatbelts and seriously injured.

The road was back open by 8:30 on Sunday morning.
