Suspect in custody after armed robbery, assault on inmate

Camden County Sheriff’s Department arrested a man Friday in connection to an armed robbery at a home.

Osage Beach Police were looking for Joshua Doyle and received a tip that Doyle was seen walking along Highway 54 outsidethecitylimitsofOsageBeach.

Joshua Doyle is also a fugitive from justice after an assault on an inmate while he was in a state prison.

On Thursday, a man came to the Osage Beach Police Dept. to report a theft.

The man said while he was visiting a friend in Osage Beach, he was assaulted and forced at gunpoint to give Doyle money from his wallet.

The victim and others at the home know Doyle.

No one was injured in the robbery.
