Investigators raid three businesses, 3 Callaway Co. homes

ABC 17 News has confirmed federal investigators have been searching at least three separate stores in Mid-Missouri, looking for synthetic pot.

Callaway Co. deputies also served three search warrants Thursday.

Law enforcement officials were looking through items inside the Lucky Seven’s store in Moberly Thursday morning and arrived at around 9:30 a.m.

Our crews saw investigators taking boxes out of the store.

Witnesses saw law enforcement at the scene of 63 Sale and Trade on Route JJ off Highway 24 northwest of Moberly, but its not confirmed if that business was searched.

Our crews also learned there was law enforcement in Holts Summit at the Smoking J’s in the 1700 block of Halifax, and saw police tape around the building.

Investigators were also looking for synthetic pot at the Inscentives Resale at 601 Airway Drive in Fulton.

ABC 17 News confirmed all three raids are connected.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office could not release any further information, but they did confirm no charges have been filed so far.
