Hot, sticky weather returns for the weekend.

The heat and humidity returns the next few days as a ridge of high pressure aloft builds over the central states. This will not only cause temperature to climb but will steer the storm track north through the weekend with only slight storm chances north of I-70 while areas south will stay dry.

Temperatures will climb to the low to mid 90s during the afternoons but will feel more like 100 to 105 when factoring in the humidity. Skies will remain partly to mostly sunny through the weekend with southwesterly winds near 10 mph.
